Another weekend, another stop. This time we ventured to South Lyon and Screwie Louie's. They have a great new venue with enough TV's, games and hot waitstaff to go around!

February 1st, 2006
Now that the STLD Bar Tour was up and rolling after the kickoff at O'Tooles, we headed for stop number two on our tour of the local bars: Overtyme in Clarkston/ Waterford. With more swag in hand we headed to Clarkston in search or our next party, to meet up with all of the friends we've made along our way, and on a mission to meet some new ones.

RESTARAUNTS
Clarkston Union
August 28, 2005
My Wife and I headed out late in the afternoon. We had to run some errands and drop some stuff off in Clarkston. When I think of Clarkston , Michigan , I think of the five lane road that runs through most of it while I'm passing through on my way to Pine Knob or the Palace. Well this time was different; we had to drop some stuff off on Main Street . I have probably passed by this area a dozen times but I've never had to turn down that road, so I never knew of Clarkston's Downtown District.

Mr. B's Rustic Tavern - Howell
January 28, 2005
On any given Thursday night in Howell, your choices of watering holes are very limited; Mr. B's Rustic Tavern is probably your best option. Recently I had the pleasure of experiencing a Thursday night party with my Staff. We showed up to the Tavern about 9:00 p.m. and in this quiet quaint downtown we found a bar with good drinks, great food, and the latest music. What more could you ask for in a night out on the town?
Who ever would have thought that the cozy downtown of Howell would have a bar with 50 Cent playing in the background and $1.50 drink specials? On this particular Thursday, Mr. B's was hosting a Molson and Absolute promotion and 3 Beautiful models where partying with all of us. I grabbed the owner Todd Hess and asked what's up? He told me “every Thursday was not this crazy, but they usually have a good group of locals and fill the place up with their drink specials”. I can see why, with food of this quality and drinks at these prices, good luck trying to find a better place to hang out in the Howell area any time soon. Mr. B's is the hot spot right now.
The crowd was the one thing I couldn't believe, I'm not bragging but I spend quite a few hours a week inside of a bar and this place had the most polite people of any bar I have ever been to. Everyone is so nice and easy to talk to, it was the type of bar atmosphere that you look for when you're ready to kick back and relax. Not the Uppity nightclub crowd that we're all used to seeing at a Club with expensive drinks and loud music. It was an awesome night; I had a fantastic time, and would like to thank every one of the 200 people that attended the promo.
Next time you're in the Livingston County area and looking for something to do, stop by and check this place out. Whether you're looking to shoot some pool, throw some darts, have a bite to eat or wash down a hard days work with a few drinks, this place will satisfy all who enter.
